|
|
Last Sunday (returning from British GP) on the M6 Toll N/B my CamAlert picked up a specs warning (I think it was picking up the specs on the A38) and of course it just kept going as I think it missed the end camera.
My query is how do you stop the specs warning whilst moving? I seem to remember a post saying just tapping the speed warning would cancel it but that didn't work. I ended up pulling into services to re-set my Sat Nav.
I there a safe way of stopping a specs warning whilst driving ? _________________ HUAWEI P30 Pro (new edition) with Speedtrap Alert & alcatel1 for SatNav

Thanks for the replies
I tried tapping the speed warning but it wouldn't shut up. For some reason the program must have faulted.
I'll try it out on the specs on the M60 in Bredbury, Stockport. _________________ HUAWEI P30 Pro (new edition) with Speedtrap Alert & alcatel1 for SatNav

from the manual wrote: | The average speed display will automatically turn itself off when you leave the average speed zone. However, there may be times, for example if you leave the average speed zone before the end of it, where it does not automatically stop. You can, in these instances, simply tap the speed or average speed display to manually control it. |
Just to clarify: It's the speed or average speed indicator, lop left in this image, not any popup warning, that you tap. _________________ Jock

The popup (they call it "toast") is not tappable - that is an Android limitation. _________________ Lutz
