Not sure why, but I seem to have run into a first time problem with CamerAlert. I've deleted the app and re-downloaded it a few times but I'm still struggling. Basically, jump in the car, activate it, set off and it will then 'freeze' after a very short time, showing the current speed and any cameras in range and that's it. Any ideas what I may have done to cause this ? thanks. |

Funneeee, funneeee.
Last Friday driving up from London to South Wales my CA closed 3 times asking me to send crash reports, which I did, but then found the emails in my Draft folder in my gmail account when I got to the old folks. Anyway, I have deleted the app and downloaded again.
have had it running a few times on the windowsill with GPS signal and it seems ok, but then I haven't actually moved, so to speak.
The crash was occurring about 10/15 mins after it locked onto a GPS signal and/or when the phone connected by bluetooth to the hands free (I use the TT720 for that).
Updated to ICS about 3 weeks ago and I have been having other problems, but more or less seem to be sorted at the moment.
Also, I checked the phone to see what files I had, and on the SD card I have 3 x CA .apk files.
One is a beta, one is called (I think) ca_1.apk and the other is the same but without the '1'.
I did copy over all files from my HTC Desire, so assume that's where the beta and other ca.apk come from.
Is it safe to delete all of them? _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

Quick update.
Deleted the app and cleared data. Downloaded again and used it on return journey Tuesday.
All is now working fine again.
Great little app. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

I did send the 3 crash logs (mentioned this in another post about CA freezing/crashing). But about a day later I found them in the Draft folder of my Gmail account, so they hadn't actually been sent to you. Did have 3g working so not sure why it didn't go.
Anyway I just deleted them because I had already fixed the problem as posted above.
I think the problem was being caused when the phone connected via bluetooth to my TT720.
Anyway, been fine since. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |
