I was told today that Dixons have the 1000 on clearance, does this suggest that there's a new model waiting in the wings to replace it? _________________ Galaxy Note 4 / TomTom GO : CamerAlert : CoPilot

Yes it seems the 1000 and 1005s are all on special, just about ready for an announcement, I guess?
What we all hoping to see in the new versions, or will it just be current (ie. just released software update) in updated hardware (ie. SD card readers)? _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

A less reflective screen & a backup/restore system would be nice. I somehow doubt we'll ever see the latter though as I don't think TomTom want us messing around on their hardware
