I want to report that a road is a dead end so I really have to select the type of error as "other" and type out what the error is. When I've done this it says the error has been saved etc for mapshare but after that it says error report has been cancelled.
It never does this when I report a specific error. I've tried several times but it keeps doing this. Is this a bug? |

Do you get the screen that asks "Is it permanent and for normal road users", or words to that effect?
I've just tried it on a road that I needed to correct, and it works OK for me.
I just followed the Yes and Done buttons till it finished. _________________ Richard

Yeah had that, and it is always fine right until the end when it says the error report has been cancelled.
I wonder if it's a bug in the XL2 navcore. |

Have you tried it using the Operate my device in Home? That'd show whether it's an XL2 bug.
You can force a Mapshare correction another way - go to that junction and select to change turn restrictions. Then deselect all turnings out of the closed off road (left, right and across), then deselect all turnings into it (left right and across) from the road outside on the end. AND add a written note to go with your corrections, saying it's a cul de sac. Make them permanent and share them with TT.
Finally, write to TomTom and tell them what you think of the lack of the facility to close the end of a cul de sac - it's not the first time it has been reported. _________________ Dennis

Worked in Home, seems to be an XL2 bug. Thanks. |
