Does anyone know if the XGPS 300 made by Dual Electronics for the Ipod Touch, is available in the UK.

Not that I know of. This is an option I'd rate higher than the Dual:

Thanks for that Darren. I wonder though how long the battery would last, say on a round of golf using a golf app.

An hour or so? The Dual cradle is very expensive and won't work if you ever upgrade.
If GPS is something you really desire you'd be better investing in a second hand 3GS or 4 (when the 4S comes along). All the solutions that add GPS are going to have drawbacks. _________________ Darren Griffin |
