Recently I upgraded my Garmin map and now there are no speed cameras on the device.
How can I add the speed cameras to the sat Nav for UK and europe please?
Thanks |

You need to decide whether you want to try to regain the Garmin-supplied data (which I guess you must have had before) or to subscribe to the database from here.
I think your Garmin data would be very out of date if you did not have a subscription to keep it up to date.
Data from here (PocketGPSWorld) is updated every week and costs ~£19 a year.
Once you've subscribed, all the instructions to install the camera warnings is here:
Installation Guide
or there's a Video Guide. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Hi,
I recently updated my garmin satnav with the lifetime subscription for europe. After the update, then it lost the camera warnings.
Do you think Garmin should have this in the update?
Thank you |

Doesn't Garmin's lifetime subscription only cover the maps though? AFAIK the cameras are only done on an annual basis and are separate from the map data.

IMO that auto camera deletion might be a blessing in disguise.
Yes, the Garmin cameras are directional but that's their only plus point. They are not that up-to-date nor do they produce a loud enough warning tone that attracts your attention to the forthcoming camera. _________________ DashCam:

MaFt is 100% correct in that the camera data is separate from the map, however the data is updated much more frequently than a year, and if you've not done so before and go to myGarmin you can get a months free trial |
