|
|
I have a Parrot Bluetooth car kit. If I start CamerAlert (latest version) and put it to backround and then start TomTom (latest version) then the CamerAlert messages come out via the iPhone speaker wheras the TomTom comes out via the car kit. If I kill off the TomTom and then put CamerAlert in the foreground it still uses the iPhone speaker. If I reboot the iPhone and run CamerAlert it's messages then come out via the Bluetooth car kit. Has anyone experienced this phenomenum? _________________ Malcolm |

bring up the music (pardon, "ipod control") icon, and check the little thingie in the far right corner. Chances are you are forcing the sound out the iphone speaker. _________________ Lutz

I notice in the CamerAlert Manual Camera Warnings section that it shows options for 'Pre Warning' and 'Overspeed'. My iPhone 4 does not show these options. Should it? _________________ Malcolm |

They are features coming very soon, update submitted to Apple. They shouldn't be in the live manual just yet _________________ Darren Griffin |

yes, sorry - that's partly (wholly) my fault.
the 'old' manual was quite out of date ( http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/cameralert.php ) and I set about updating it with the new menu layouts and new features.
the plan was to change the links to the manual once the app was updated and the new features were added!
nevermind eh iOS version is getting a couple of new features that aalerre available in the Android version: Pre-warning (a sound played before the main warning - to get your attention) and an Over speed alert (which will make noises at you as you approach a camera and are still over the speed limit)
