|
Hi all
Need a bit of help,
I am looking for a right angle mini connector with the same orientation as the original car charger of the TT720.
I have been able to get hold of a suitable waterproof type holder and clamp to fix the TT to the handlebar of my HD Deuce, and a battery extender for supplying power etc,
But cant seem to find a suitable connector to bring the power in to the rear of the TT rather than the bottom.
Cheers

I researched this a while ago, and finding USB leads with right angled connectors is surprisingly hard!
I found one US company that did a good range, but I've lost the bookmark I thought I'd made for them. I'll see if I can find them again.
Don't forget you need to reduce the battery voltage down from 12V to 5V for the 720 or instant smoke and death results....
So unless you have other ideas already, a second hand TomTom charger and an in-line cigarette lighter socket might be the best idea. |

I had thought of that idea as an option

Had a Google and the only ones I could see are L or R 90º types rather than the Rear 90º type you seek.
As Andy says though, even if you source one, you'd need to use it with an existing charger lead which outputs the requisite 5v or your TomTom will be an ex-TomTom. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I'm sure that there are plenty of people who have several TT's. So presuming they have spare leads etc, why not ask in the Wanted section. |
