Has anybody else got a problem with using iPod controls in Cameralert and Tom Tom?
It appears to have happened in the last couple of days since updating Cameralert (not necessarily linked)
The pause and play work but not the previous or next track arrows. If I go back to the iPod app the function doesn't work there either after opening TT or CA. If I reboot the phone all is ok until I open either app. Opening any other app does not affect it. _________________ Mike

All working fine for me here. Does this occur in TomTom even when CA is not running?
And does this occur when in a dock or regardless? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Darren, just double checked.
If running Cameralert neither button works, if running TT only the left arrow works which restates the track currently playing.
I've also noticed the arrows are single not double anymore, have I missed something blindingly obvious?
I don't remember changing any settings. _________________ Mike

Very odd, can't think of any setting that would affect that. And this happens even when handheld?
Are you running the latest iPhone Software? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Sorry Darren, got sidetracked.
I have now sat down and investigated further, rather than on the road, so yes handheld, and I still get the same behaviour.
I was incorrect about the arrows though, I have double arrows in TT and single in Cameralert which may be correct, so probably a faux pas on my part there.
I am running OS 4.1 _________________ Mike

So it does seem to be related to your device rather than any app?
Might be time for a restore, I assume you have rebooted the phone? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Yes rebooted several times.
I hoped that I wasn't the only one with the issue and that some brainbox had come up with a simple fix.
I'll try a restore this weekend if all else fails.
Thanks for trying Darren. _________________ Mike
