tom tom 740 live new app

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems with the new app from tom tom. It started 2 days ago and i have been surprised with the speed at which they reply to my e mails, i have a girl called Ruth who has been wonderful.

My problem was with live services could not connect to live services, i kept having to do a soft reset to get it to work, after 5 e mails on what to do including downloading the map again and a full reset still no solution. I have gone back to the old version until this is resolved. I also had an error message it read as folloes

error code 1018

and then in the white box it says OK

So far i have done 9 factory resets, 2 map downloads, and hours at my pc trying to do this, albeit i am no pc or tom tom buff which may explain why it takes me so long........any feedback would be welcome, oh it also tells me when it says connect to pc and i press yes its does my closedown theme, initiating shutdown sequence, odd i thought.

You might want to read this thread about the 9.058 NavCore which already discusses problems with the LIVE services (including the 1018 error) and has at least one other person with the shutdown sound problem.
