I have an original TTG classic which I deleted the voices (didnt like them!) and have an almost full map of my destinations on my original 128mb card installed.
Whats the quickest and easiest way to restore everything back to factory settings and restore all the voices, whilst deleting all my details and addresses? but keeping my latest maps etc
I have the original CD and a new Macbook if that helps?

Yes, you'll need to connect up to the Mac using USB.
To update it you'll also need to download a copy of TomTom "Home" for the Mac.
There's nothing much on the CD that will help, probably just an out of date version of Home....
I also assume you didn't make a backup of the Go when you first got it?
Normally, you would use Home v2 and this is found by clicking on the large blue button on the right of THIS PAGE, but if your Go has not been updated for a long time, you MIGHT need to download and use the old Home v1.5 That's available on the same webpage, just below the other link.
To remove your personal settings, the first thing to do is a "Factory reset"
You should find that in the preferences menu on the Go itself.
A factory reset normally does a lot of things, primarily
it removes: (but only for for the current map if you had more then one - not relevant in your case):
Home Location
Recent Destinations
POI Warnings
Itineraries
Map Share corrections
But it seems to leave alone:
Safety Preferences
User POI's themselves (the files are not deleted. In fact it comes back with them ALL selected to show on map)
Brightness Preferences
Speaker Preferences
Start up and shutdown screen
So if you have added any POIs that you want to get rid of, you can use Home to delete them.
Do that and then check all your details really have been deleted.
To RESTORE the things you deleted, like voices, you must use Home to find them, download them and reinstall them.
So it isn't a 5 minute job! If you had made a backup when you first got the Go, it would have been a lot easier - you could have just pasted the backup files back onto the Go's SD card and it would have been back as it was originally.
