Come on TT I know there's always a delay for the Operate my Go/Tom Tom to work after a Home Update, but I'm still waiting days after released/installed. _________________ Gel

TT belatedly responded, suggesting removing TT Home on my C Drive, from Application Data folder, and then go TT Home where it asks you if you want to install TT Home.
(This assumed I had latest Op S/ware on device and latest TT Home; yes to both.)
Went through process and it still doesn't "Operate My Go".

very strange.
if youve got time try this. cant promise it will work but worth a go.
click on start (bottom left of screen) control panel, uninstall or change program, tomtom home, uninstall.
wait for it to delete home.
once done connect you device to the computer and turn it on.
close any popup boxes saying do you want to install home.
then click on my computer (if you have a shortcut on your desktop). if not, start, click computer on right side. double click on the drive which shows your tomtom device which will open the internal folder. scroll down the page to find "Install TomTomHOME" and install it from there.once its loaded it will say do you want to update to the latest HOME click yes.
i know it sounds a long way round about doing things but sometimes its better loading direct from the source than from the website.
hope it works for you |

OK
Will give that a try in absence of any hoped for Emulator update.
I have A West European map on my HDD, and the Northern one on the SD, but same grief on both, and on both laptops;
one's on Vista, one on XP Pro.
PS
Not seeing that option to Install or Run TT on either drive;( _________________ Gel

OLD BOY; Many thanks.
It won't even work with the 2.6 version you kindly posted, and of course TT Home is forever saying I need to update to 2.7.
Will see if I can disable that nuisance. _________________ Gel

Trawling the interweb someone posted that an incompatible SD card may be issue; apparently even maps bought from TT Shop on an SD card won't allow Operate My Go.
I have 2nd map installed on a 4gb SDHC Sandisk, and pulled out;
Operate My Go suddenly works. Hmm ))
I tried TT Home on both maps but Operate my Go wouldn't work on either.
