just downloaded the latest TeleAtlas v850 postcodes.
i know its been mentioned that the files seem to be getting smaller each time a new one is released but there is quite a bit of difference with the GB postcodes.
downloaded the latest maps yesterday for my new referb 930 so they are now upto date. the postcodes are still v801 from 2008
v801 9.288kb
v850 8.971kb
even though 317kb is not massive it would still hold quite a lot of postcodes especially as there are new roads being built every day.
is it still safe to load these new ones or are there still errors being noticed by members everyday.
thanks

Load them.
As for the smaller size, according to one of the regulars here a lot of the size reduction is due to the gradual weeding out of Postcodes which only relate to Mail Boxes at Royal Mail Centres. |
