Working fine here.
Check you have a folder called ephem in the root of the TT.
If you don't, create a folder.
If you do, delete the contents of the folder.
HOME should now offer you QuickGPSFix again. |

Besides the deletion of the files on the unit, go here:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete\ephemeris\
and delete any sub folder found there.
Now connect to Home and see if a new file is offered. _________________ David |

I am using a Tomtom 500 and never get offer the update. I have done what AndyVaughan sudgested plus had to make a new folder called ephemeris.
Is there anything else I should be doing or do I not get the download for my 500? |

I'm afraid the GPS Quickfix doesn't work on the Go500 model.
There's a chart HERE which shows which models support it.
Sorry..... |

That's the "penalty" you have to pay for using a reliable, stable device - you switch on your GO500, it works. You probably don't even know where the reset switch is.
No penalty really, I haven't downloaded it to any of my devices since either two or three (can't remember) years ago. _________________ Dennis
