|

Hi All. I have a new 750 Live to replace my ancient Go Classic. I have subscribed to the PGPS Speed Camera Database for many years and they have been extremely reliable.
However, having installed then on my new Go Live 750 they don't seem to work! In fact i still get the TomTom Speed Camera Alerts and they are a complete waste of time, as you already know!
I use Speed Zone Complete (always have) and have set up the warning distances and sounds etc as per. In the Manage POI page of the TomTom they show up with the little loud speaker next to each camera entry.
Yet today, the first time I used my TomTom, i didn't get a single PGPS Cam alert, just the TomTom ones, and they were "miles out".
Can you help please? Do I need to remove the TomTom camera alerts? If so, how do I?
Quite a few questions there, I hope I haven't bored you too much!!
Thanks for reading. _________________ Cracking Toast Gromit!

When you set the warnings up did you select "Warn only if POI on Route" and then went for a drive without a destination set? - Mike |

No Sir!
"Warn only if POI on Route" is unchecked. I did have a destination set anyway.
Thanks for the quick reply. _________________ Cracking Toast Gromit!

Switch off the TomTom camera alerts.
Also, as you have a new 750, are you using TomTom's fuel alerts and the Fuel Prices Live service?
Have a read of Andy_P's post entitled "WARNING - TomTom's fuel POIs can disrupt the Camera warnings".
Just a thought.

Wenolene already has another thread which has started to answer this exact same question here
As you'll see the same questions and answers are coming up in both threads therefore i'll lock this one and ask discussion continues in the other.
