|
|
I have just tried the voice commands on my new Go Live 750 and have encountered a problem.
When I say "Navigate to favourite" it brings up a list of all my favourites with a identification number by the side of each one in the list. So far so good. I now say "1" for example and it reads back CORRECTLY the name of the favourite I have just picked. However, the problem is that it plans a route to a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT favourite!
It happens every time. It renders the voice command facility useless for this item.
Has anyone else found this? Or indeed, a workaround for it?
Thanks. _________________ Cracking Toast Gromit!

This 'bug' has been around for a while but I thought it got fixed in the last Navcore release.
Which version are you running 9.026? |

Its still a feature of the new Navcore so there is nothing you can do with one exception, give them a ring to complain its the only way to get them to listen (0845 161 0009) - Mike |

It had better NOT!!!! There are other issues/challenges/problems/cockups needing a fix much earlier in the queue, let this latest one take its turn! _________________ Dennis

It does make you wonder how on earth it manages this feat after correctly repeating the requested favourite |

But unlike the TomTom I'd hope that if you repeated a phrase in a foreign language from a numbered list you'd know which one you'd read for more than 5 seconds. Now where did I put that list? |
