Hi, I seem to have a problem with the above software. I hope someone can help.
I have ordered some new software for my 4350max but I am unable to download it as I get the message 'server interupted' each time I try.
I am also unable to close the program if I am logged on (I can close it with ctrl/alt/delete). The program will close normally if I am not logged on.
I have tried closing firewall, and virus software, and router firewall, to no avail.
A Navigon staff member could not help although he spoke very good english.
Anyone else come across this?
Cheers

Have you got the latest version of Fresh installed? If you have I can only suggest you reload it. Maybe someone else will have a better idea. _________________ David

OK - I'd have another go at Navigon then - with luck you'lly get someone different, who might not be such a waste of space. You could also submit an enquiry form from the Q&A section of their support page.
Another idea, if you are on FaceBook, is to go onto Navigon's FB page. Questions asked there seem to get responses pretty sharpish. _________________ David

Thinking idly about this, I presume this is pay-for software? I'm just wondering if the 'server interrupted' message is a messy response to Navigon thinking you haven't paid/payment hasn't been cleared. Possibly with this response your end is waiting for the server to send a 'clear' message, or possibly trying to resend info, before it can shut down the communication properly, so it hangs.
When you are not logged on though, you are presumably not trying any downloads, in which case you don't get into the hang-up situation.
So I suggest you check with Navigon that your payment has gone through ok.
Definitely clutching at straws here, but no one else seems to have any thoughts! _________________ David

Thanks again David, It is bought software, I have an email reciept from navigon and software is visible on my log in.
You are right, I can exit Navigon fresh after loggong in but once I have tried to download my software it seems to hang.
I am going to try accessing it from a friends pc and see what happens. If not I will have to contact them again.
I did try to contact then through their site but the typing window is limited and they want to know who you are tying to contact and their email address!
Let you know how I get on
Cheers

Hi, Just a quick update on this.
I have managed to install my bought software onto my Navigon - through a friends computor, so it seems the problem is with my router.
Strange as it dosnt seem to effect anything other than freshmaps.
Anyway thanks David for your thoughts
