|
|
Hi Guys,
I have a TT XL IQ rotues europe edition which has navcore 9.026 running on it as offered by TT Home. When I try to navigate to either a postcode of a city my device just reboots.
When I look on TT support website for the lastest application it appears to be 9.024 (which I was offered by Home some time ago before I was offered 9.025 and 9.026), and I notice it says the 9.025 is just for the x50 devices. 9.026 does not even get a mention!
What software should my XL be running as I know Home does tend to offer things it shouldn't, and not offer things it should!
Thanks guys

If you mean THIS PAGE, I would take any info on there with a LARGE pinch of salt.
It often doesn't get updated when new software appears, and many previous versions are missed off it.
Typical TomTom really!

From what info I can glean, v9.026 *is* right for the XL IQ non-LIVE |

I think I will roll back to 9.025 as that seemed fairly stable on my device.
9.026 has been out for weeks but perhaps TT have been to busy making Live Services work!!! |

I have had a go at reverting my postcode files today to try and get my TT to work properly. Sadly no joy. I then reinstalled 9.026 and rebooted (15 seconds), not joy. I then used clear flash 3 times still with no joy.
I am running out of ideas now, but it seems to seize and reboot when I try to use any of the 4 icons behind the Address icon in the 'Navigate to' Menu, if I try to use the City Centre Icon on the second page of the 'Navigate to' menu or when I try to navivate to POI in City behind the POI menu. I am just testing all of these as I write, and its now rebooting when I click on the Address icon. Grrr. All the other icons work fine (at the moment).
I have also used an alternative unzip program to see whether that might sort it!
Maybe my backup postcode files could be corrupted too, so if anybody would be kind enough to send me theirs that work that would be much appreciated. PM me for email address.
Thanks for all your valuable help so far.
