Ok please be gentle with me ! I have owned a PDA with TTN 6 for a few years but it has gone bang ! I have an ipod touch that I use in the car for music etc & thought that if I could use this for satnav then it is all on one gadget & a lot less wires than my pda etc ,
So can it be done ? I have seen the tomtom cradles for the iphone but will they work on a touch ? are there other options ? Which is the better nav app ?
Sorry for the questions Confused

An iTouch loaded with TomTom will be be fine if its coupled to their car kit which will supply the device with GPS position, it won't be capable of using the HD Traffic service though as that requires an internet connection which the iTouch doesn't have - Mike

It should work fine with any of the apps but double check the app you choose is intended for use with the iTouch as not all will work - I only have experiance of using the 3G and 3GS iPhones combined with the TT car kit, Co-Pilot, Sygic, I-Go, Navigon, TomTom etc and they are all fine on the phones coupled to the car kit - Mike
