The icon for the Jukebox has disappeared from my Music and Media screen on my GO630 - not even a dimmed icon. If I access the device through HOME, there is a dimmed-out icon, but perhaps that is just there as part of HOME, not the device.
So how can I get it back? The handbook refers to it, so I assume it should be part of the device programme.
Enlightenment please Wink

What files have you got present in the "bin" folder on the device? - Mike

In fact are you really sure your 630 ever had mp3 player capability as the tech spec on the TT web site make no mention of it and I seem to remember this was one of the features they dropped from that device - if you are seeing icons for the mp3 player in Home then its probably a fault of the Home software rather than the device - Mike

Suspected that, Mike. Never used it before on this device, so checked with the help files which does mention Jukebox, but that may be covering all X30 devices. All I have is Doc reader, Ipod control and photo gallery. Oh well! No problem, I'll just carry on using the 730.
Thanks.
Graham

You should have:

demoplayer.sh
mp3d
mplayer
obexftpd
syncml

The files in Bold are supplied as part of the Navcore update on the devices with mp3 support, you could always try copying the missing files from your 730 backup "bin" folder to the "bin" folder on the 630 but as per my second post I don't think the 630 supports mp3 play back (I might be wrong though) - Mike

Worth the try, I suppose. I'll let you know the result. Graham

Had a try this morning. Did not work, though. No worry. Thanks for suggestion.
