Down load camera updates

Hi I am down loading up dates saving to desk top then sending to my garmin.is this correct? question is does it overide previous updates I havent a clue I am not very computor literate,am I doing it the right way.

When you send a bunch of POI files to a Garmin unit (including the Speed Camera Database) they are packed into a single file called POI.GPI on the unit. When you re-run POILoader the first thing it does is delete the old POI.GPI file. As each Speed Camera Database download is a complete set of data you must upload the whole database each time and it'll wipe out the old data automatically. So yes, you are doing it correctly.
