|

Hello All
Rather new this. I have a nuivi 360 and have downloaded onto ny PC some free POI's from this site which are saved as a zip. The garmin downloader tries to find CSV files in the folder where I have saved the poi's. How do I convert them to download onto a SD card?
Thanks

Hi, and
If you have XP you can Right Click the Zip File and use Extract to Unzip the file or, as I do, use WinZip or one of the several Unzipping tools that are now available. _________________ Richard

Just another point to remember. When you load poi's to your unit or memory card POI Loader over-writes the last ones you put on. This means that you always need to have ALL the files in one folder, even when adding more poi's.
So original files (if any), plus new ones (if you add any more at a later date) need to be in the same folder that POI Loader looks for (Browse...).
Remember to set Feet and MPH if using the PGPSW safety camera files. |

This is my first post on Pocket GPS World and I apologise if I'm being a bit thick. However, grateful for help on the following.
Have downloaded UK and French POIs to folders on my Windows XP, have unzipped and saved in new folders. Have downloaded Garmin POI loader to PC and then have run this expecting to be able to use it to install POIs on my SD card. The loader unzips and removes back up files, but when I tick 'run', POI loader just disappears!
What am I missing please ? |

Hi and welcome.
It sounds like somethings wrong with POILoader there. I would un-install it, re-download it and re-install it again. |
