Garmin 865 problems

Just got an 865t to replace my 310 but i can't get the cameras to work. Have run all the updates on the unit and the cameras come up when i run a simulation route but i get no audible warning. Any help appreciated.

Can you check the following....

Tools, Settings, Proximty Points

Make sure Custom POIs is ticked / selected

Ah you might not get a prompt when running a simulation route as they are often done under the speed limit and hence no prompt.

What happens in the "real world"?

I'll check real world but i'm sure on my 310 they aren't speed dependent am i miss remembering ? i would check but i've lent it to my freind for his holiday.

Can i check which database we are talking about? Garmins Cyclops Database or the PGPSW one?

I've just checked with my 765 and it produces alerts for the PGPSW in demo mode. You don't have the device muted do you? Maybe try reloading the database.

PGPSW data base. using Liz voice. device will sound for garmin data base and does give verbal instructions. Have reloaded database twice. is the voice the problem.

Have you checked the volume levels - esp under Mixer?
