Does number of POIs installed affect performance?

On my TomTom ONE XL (v8) I have noticed that after loading the Uk speed cameras and several POIs from PGPSW, the satnav seems to have slowed down a bit. When driving along, the map/arrow movement is jerky whereas it used to be fairly smooth.

Has anyone else noticed this?

This can happen when there are a lot of categories selected to display on screen.

For the cameras, if you just have them set up to "warn when near" and not displayed on the "browse map" screen, this should speed it back up for you. You will still get the same warnings.

Similarly, only display the other POIs that you need at the time.
