I am having problems getting TTN 3 to load if I have Calendar running TTN 3 will not load, I select it and nothing happens. I either have to do a soft reset or go to Settings->Memory->running programs and stop calendar, as soon as I do this TTN 3 loads, the same used to happen with TTN2. I am running on an iPAQ 5550 |

This is unusual. I've just tried this on my setup, and it behaves just the same as you say (Navigator 3 3.01, Pocket PC 2003 - that is ROM 4.00.08 on an iPAQ 3970).
I guess I haven't noticed this before because, like many people, I have a program installed that makes the X button really close an application rather than minimise it (in my case, I'm using Spb's Pocket Plus).
So far as I can characterise the behaviour - it's this:
Open Calendar for the first time after a soft reset and leave it open.
Try to open Navigator - nothing appears to happen.
Close or stop Calendar - Navigator finishes loading from the previously aborted attempt.
From then on you seem to be able to open and close these two programs in either order.
Alternatively, if you open Calendar once after a soft reset, close or stop Calendar, then open it again, Navigator will load without problems on any attempt.
(By close or stop, I mean use a task manager that really closes programs when you press X, or stop the program using Running Programs or iTask on an iPAQ).
It looks like there might be something going wrong with locking of some commodity (possibly the Appointments Database, though it could be something else). Whether the bug is in Pocket Outlook or TomTom Navigator, I don't know. TomTom Navigator, of course, does install a plugin to Pocket Outlook.
An added complication is that I have tAgenda 1.1e on my Today Screen - it's possible that tAgenda is to blame for this. Have you also got tAgenda installed? Is there anyone prepared to try this that doesn't have tAgenda installed?

Same here with an Ipaq 2210 - it won't start until I close calendar - I have nothing else installed - this answers a question as to why occassionally TTN3 wouldn't start.
Roll on 3.02 or is it 3.03? _________________ -----------------------------------------------------------

I'm having similar problems with My Pocket Loox 600, WM2003 and TTN3 (+ updates). Wondered why it wouldn't work occasionally! |

No such problems on a 3870 running PPC 2002 with tAgenda. |

It would be helpful if other Pocket PC 2002 users can post results, as well as those using Pocket PC 2003. It may be a Pocket PC 2003 specific problem.
It would also be helpful if users indicated if they have other programs they've got installed that make use of the calendar database - whether it's Today screen plugins like the excellent free tAgenda, or more comprehensive Pocket Outlook replacements like Pocket Informant.
As I posted, I'm using Pocket PC 2003 on my iPAQ 3970.

I get the same with TT3.01/3.02, PPC2003, Ipaq 5550. Seems to work if TomTom is started first. |
