Software upgrade to New 740 IQ software from previous model

Can the software be upgraded on to the 740 IQ software (New version that is out) as i have see the software and i am not really considering buying the new tomtom yet.

Please can someone give me some advice on this, as i am unsure where to get the software from and also how to installit to my device.

Hi and welcome.

TomTom release updates every now and then. These are downloaded and installed using a program called TT Home. It very straight forward to do.

You can't update an old TomTom to a new TomTom if that's what you mean. i.e. you can't update a 520 to a 740...
