|
|
Got my setup last night, only had time to install vanilla tomtom and have a quick drive round. All seems to be working fine
So what items should i look at modifying (didnt get chance to look at the various options)
Im going to add checkpoint (ver 2.2?)
Is there anyting on routing? i.e. choose shortest route or fastest route? or similar thing.
Anything else i should be aware of and tweak to make tomtom better.
Thanks |

The default options are pretty good - I'd only change things if you find the need to as you begin to use Navigator. Changing button settings is probably the most common customisation, also enabling and disabling POI categories for display to fit your needs.

One thing I did forget - though it may be default in Navigator 3 Great Britain. You will probably want to set the map colours to Britannica, which then gives Motorways the familiar blue and white colouring used on printed maps.
