On this model you cannot use the full post code. However TT have a file which can be downloaded to enable full post code usuage, namely "wezipcodes715.zip (10.5 MB)" However it then goes on to explain what to do but I do not understand where to extract the file to. It says the following:
"The 'zip' folder should be copied to the 'root' of your TomTom device. This means not inside one of the folders."
Can someone explain this in plain English please.
I presume that all data is stored on the SD card.
Thanks

If you look at the contents of your unit using Explorer, you'll see a bunch of folders and many loose files (not in any folder). You are looking at the 'root' of your unit.
So, you use Explorer to make another folder in that location called zip (all lower case, no quotes). Extract the contents of the file you references into that zip folder.
If you have a model where everything is on a sd card instead of in the internal flash drive of the unit, then the producure I mentioned is the same, just create the folder on the sd card. _________________ David |

Thanks for the reply. I am presuming that all the details are stored on the SD card unless anyone knows anything different.

If you have an "Original GO" (the first version ever released) as the title of your thread suggests then yes, everything goes onto the SD card. There is no other memory to load files onto on this device. _________________ Paul |

Thanks for that. It confirms what I thought about the memory being only on the SD card. Yes it is the original Go.
