Garmin Nuvi 750

I am not able to either switch on or off - except for when it is attached to a charger!

Any ideas?

What happens if you switch it on and then remove the power lead?

Have you tried giving it a good long charge? If using the USB lead from a PC it'll take about 9 hours to do a complete charge. Does the screen say that it's charging when you do this?

Right, if it's charged but not plugged in it won't turn on (it only does so when plugged to either USB or car charger)
