tomtom 920

Have managed to lose the america map off my tomtom 920 , had back up on my computer,but think it must be corrupted as it will not work after reloading on to unit.
Any help would be most welcome.

By what means did you reload it and what is happening -- or not happening -- that causes you to think the map is corrupt?

You should be able to download again via HOME?

Check that you don't have a copy in your HOME folders already - if I delete my NA map off of my 920 I constantly get offered to download it via HOME.

If you start TomTom Home on the PC then go to Tools/ TomTom Home Preferences, select the Folder Preferences tab and it will show you where the downloads are stored on your computer - Mike

Try looking in the My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Download\complete folder - might also be worth looking in the \My Documents\TomTom\HOME\FromDevice folder.
