|
|
Hi, Please can someone help/advise?
A month ago I bought a refurb TT520 and was really pleased with it.
This week I saw that totalpda were selling them again so I decided to get my partner one as well. The new refurb TT520 arrived today, I took a backup, and then created a new account in TT Home to download the latest software. I downloaded version 8.30 (?) and then a more recent version - I am not sure what the exact version was and I can't find out because the TT seems to have gone mad. When I switch it on it starts selecting options seemingly randomly.
I am not sure what to do. Should I restore the original backup and see if it works ok on that? Has anyone had/seen this problem?
Any advice/help would be very gratefully received - thank you! |

Reset the device using a paperclip/ pi or stylus in the reset hole on the base of the unit, then switch it on and see what it does - Mike |

Thank you both for your feedback.
I have just tried the reset, but it is still the same. I think the problem is that it is just selecting anything on the top right hand side of the screen, so I am wondering now if it is a screen issue. It is really weird to watch, it looks just as though someone is selecting the options on the top right hand side.
I think I will return the unit, it is definitely faulty.
Many thanks for your advice on this. |

Run a piece of paper around the screen edge between the screen and the bezzel, if any debris has become lodged in the gap this can clear it out, there is a very small gap which will accept the corner of a sheet of paper - Mike |
