Hi sdiprose,
to the forum!
OK, I know that you joined in 2006, but the above is your first post.

Firstly you need to ensure that:
1 You are paid up and current subscriber to the PocketGPSWorld camera database.
2. You have the latest version of the PocketGPSWorld camera database loaded onto your Garmin.
3. You have no other party’s (i.e. Garmin etc) speed camera database active on your unit.
People are normally very quick to report the removal of roadwork’s speed cameras once the roadworks have finished. We can normally verify motorways quite quickly too, as most motorways in the UK will have at least one or two verifiers using them on a regular basis.

Couldn’t agree more, so long as you are a current subscriber and have the latest version of the PocketGPSWorld camera database loaded onto your Garmin, and that you have no other speed camera database active on your unit to confuse things, then you have already minimised false alarms.
However, you may well be the first to come across a site that is either new so that it needs reporting or, a site that needs modification (changing or removal) so the best thing to do is to use the PocketGPSWorld camera submission page, which has all of the instructions on how to submit, on it.
If you are the first to submit a camera or change, then you may be eligible for lifetime subscription.
