|
|
Hi,
After recently updating in Home I noticed that the FM voice transmission to car audio feature had disappeared. I contacted TT who told me that it had become illegal to have this feature. I used this a lot as it enhanced the audio and allowed a fade between music played via jukebox and car audio as well. Is there any way of retrieving this feature please? |

Welcome to the forum, have you updated the map or just the application? if you have a new map installed (v825) then you cannot roll back the software to the previous release where the FM Tx did work.
To check your map version tap the sat strength meter (lower right) followed by the version box, the resultant screen will give you the maps name and version number along with lots of other information.
If you haven't updated the map then I can point you at some instructions on getting the FM output working again - Mike |

Another post on here said that TT support had informed them that a new application was to be released soon where this functionality would be restored to some extent. Might just be rumour though!
Have a look here.

FoxyWales.....
I`m a newbie with the GO 520 Music Edition and have just fully updated the HOME to 2.6 and the GO 520 has the latest maps.
If I select Main Menu page 1-3 then select `Change preferences` then select page 6-8 I can select Speaker preferences. In there it sets up the FM Transmitter to FM Radio speakers. Then back into page 4-8 to the quick menu option, and in there scroll to the FM tab.this gives me the quick option to turn on and tune in the frquency for the FM Radio, once in map view!
Not sure how different your 520 T is to my GO 520??
Maybe this helps? _________________ Device:TOMTOM START 52 & SNOOPER 3ZERO

The 8,302 release will only allow the music to be played via the FM Tx option, you cannot select the nav voice to go via the same method - Mike |
