X6 and Tomtom route planner

Hi all can anyone please tell me can I use the gps option in Tomtom route planner as it says in the manual ( To connect a GPS device with NMEA-0183 v2 output (NMEA parameters: baud rate 4800, no parity, 8 bit data, 1 stop bit)
Can my Rikaline X6 connect with NMEA if so how do I change the settings please . thanks in advance bjellys

Per default the GPS receiver comes with NMEA protocol so you should not need to change anything there. What ypu may need to change is the GPS driver version - unless RoutePlanner natively supports ports other than COM1: (yours should be COM4:)

If you still want to fiddle around with the receiver, use the Emtac Crux_View program. You can change all kinds of stuff there. (But there's no real need for that)
