simple question.
can the mount be removed from the back of the unit? i mount my present unit on a magnetic mount so don't need to use the supplied one. this would make the v4 very slim to carry arount.
thanks.

Is it this version of the ONE?

If so then yes, the circular ring and suction mount pulls off, takes a bit of a tug but it will come off, by design. To re-attach just line up and push back on.

many thanks darren. yes that is the one.
is it only the serated type ring that comes off or does the whole mount, leaving just the slim body to use?
thanks again.

The ring and suction mount with hinge is one part and the entire assembly pulls off. If you lever it off from the hinged part it will come off quite easily. To re-attach just lay the ring over it's mating lip on the ONE and squeeze the two together.

This pic shows the back of the one (and XL) without the mount, showing the "lip" around the speaker that the ring of the mount clips onto.
Inset is what the mount looks like on its own.
