New member here. I have spent quite some time searching for an answer, hopefully someone here knows what the specs are for a replacement battery for the Tomtom mkII receiver. Mine seems dead, as the charge light will come on, but unit will not power up. Tomtom was no help, and the company "batteryship" has never sold one before.
Anyone with suggestions?
Thanks,
David |

Give SatNav-Shop a call. We can recommend them. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I have contacted Tomtom by phone and email. They claim to not know the battery specs and suggest simply tossing it away and buying a new unit. As a "green" travel writer you can bet this information will make it into my next mag article!
I sent an email to nav but could not find a phone number. Are they located in the US? |
