Road Angel/Dell Axim X3i - software/cable?

I've just purchased a Road Angel (for licence protection) and it appears I could possibly use the GPS output (NMEA) with suitable software and my Dell Axim X3i to provide in car voice Satnav. Two questions, what software would be a good bet for this, and what sort of connecting cable would I need and where would I obtain one?

Cannot advise you on software.

But you can get a cable (PX3GS/PX3GSP) to connect X3 from:

You may also need a serial extension cable, which may come with your Road Angel (the cable for connecting Road Angel to PC).

I have connected a Road Angel to an iPaq, and run TomTom Navigator 2 on it. Works for me Thumbs Up

I have a spare connecting cable for an iPaq (unpowered).

You can purchase a powered cable from Holux-UK for less than £30, including postage.
