Hi, Can anyone help me on this - I'm having difficulty in getting a logo sized to suit a poi file that I have written for my TT Go 300.
I've tried MS Paint unsuccesfully and have just about wasted the whole day trying to get sorted. I'm happy to post to share with anyone when completed ?
The Logo I'm trying to size is from the Barcelo Hotels web site - but it's obviuosly awkward to size accordingly. Can anyone help before the wife comes home and finds I've wasted all my day !!
Many thanks in anticipation |

What is the size of the image you are trying to change?
Can you not change it with Image - Stretch/Skew?
Which Image on the site are you trying to use as an Icon? _________________ Richard

Hello
Not sure if this is what you need
24 x 24 -
44 x 44 -
You may need to re-save them as .bmp format
If they are any good then just right click them and use Save Picture As to save to your pc |

Paint Shop Pro 7 to adjust images - but I think Adobe own them these days
and always use PW below to re-size images.
Picture Window 2.5 by Digital Light & Color if they are still going.
Both very old programs. |

I'm really grateful - I've spent all day but couldn't do it in paint - could I ask one more question - on the poi ov2 file is a comment exported by...yet it isn't showing in the excel file that created the OV2 so I do know how it's got in there or what I have to do to delete it ? |

If you have used a program like PoiEdit or others, it may well leave a comment at the start of the file that it was converted by xxxxxx etc
Not sure if you can remove it. Others may know a way but I don't. |

Which program shows it?
The OV2 format, as such, doesn't contain comments. Other than any that might be in the Title Field for a location. _________________ Richard

I use Paint if creating a new or altering an existing image.
But, for resizing, I use Irfanview (totally free). I save mine at 22 x 22 pixels and set a DPI of 72, (Go 700) then save as.

Since about v9 '05ish. I use PSP Photo X2, does most very things well. Only rarely need to use Photo-Paint X4. |
