I have just purchased a TOMTOM 530, updated the software via home and also received the latest map.
However I do not have any of the building outlines in the 3d screen as expected. Plesae help. _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |

They are hard coded into the map data, so there is nothing you can do on the machine to enable or disable them.
but they are only present in certain places, mainly large city centres. My route to work took me directly along the edge of the London 3-D mapped area, so I had buildings on one side and not on the other!
I'll just do some pics... |

Here you go:
Here's the bottom left corner of the London area: (note the slightly darker brown square)
And this is a screen shot of just travelling into the area (note the buildings chopped in half!):
Try a demo route from N 51.45735 W 0.19782 to N 51.45894 W 0.19274 and you should see the same. |

Thank you for your quick reply. I have just tried that route and the buildings are there. Many thanks _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |
