Hi,As anybody else noticed that you cannot transmit voice instructions via fm to your car radio but you can still play tunes.This happend when I downloaded the latest updates from TT. Is it me or has it happened to everybody. |

This has been done deliberately, if you are still using v810 maps or earlier there is no real benefit in using the new software, I posted a set of instructions yesterday which detail how to roll the device back to 8,010 which will give you back the full FM Tx capability.
If you have a backup just use that or have a read of This - Mike |

I'm on 8.300 and the maps version is v720.1803, will your idea work for me? I cannot use the back up because I backed it up when i installed the new update. |

The method I linked to will work fine for you, I would suggest you consider using Windows Explorer for any future backups rather than the useless Home application. At least this way you don't wipe out backups unless you really want to, the method Home uses is flawed in this respect.
As you have v720 maps there is no point in using the v8,3 application on your unit - Mike |
