I have got the latest update, apart from all the favorites etc going. The .ogg files went as well, just them back. Now my 720 wont let me select the .gg file.
Is this a Bug? is there a work arround ? |

By latest update do you mean the application or the map as well? - Mike |

So you have the POI files and the ogg files in the map folder and when selecting the warn when near POI option to go through the configuration of the settings it only offers the built in sounds?
If the above is the case try putting the ogg files into the "sounds" folder and see if they are listed when you configure the warnings, some users have reported this works - Mike |

A quickie, but when I had this problem a lot of the .ogg files I had didn't have the full POI name.
By that I mean they didn't have the _PGPSW bit added onto the .ogg file name.
e.g. water_splash_PGPSW.ogg.
I think I have that right, but no TomTom with me at the moment. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

I have placed the .ogg files in the sounds folder. When i go to configure sounds. i get "warn when closerr than screen" then i jumps to is this the sound you want " i say yes without giving me any options. then "warn when near POI option.
Complete.
Should i remove the sound from the map folder aswell? |

Gary, do the actual alerts work and speak to you as you approach a camera? - if you don't fancy going out in the car use Prepare Route on the device to plan a trip past a camera then Route Demo to watch the device play the trip and the warning (keep the demo speed to 100% to make sure the replay speed doesn't interfere with the check) - Mike |
