I have a Qtek PDA and have installed tomtom5 on to it, it works OK but after downloading speed camera's I cannot view them in the POI category.
I have followed the details that came with the camera files and installed them to the GB plus maps in the storage card, but the camera's cannot be seen or added to in POI categories.
Any advice please will be much appreciated,
Thanks..ontime. |

How many custom POI files have you got in the map folder as there is a limit of 39 when using TT Nav 5 - open the map folder using Windows Explorer on the PC (via Active Sync if need be) and count the number of files ending with .ov2
You did unzip the download to produce the speed camera POI files didn't you? if they are still zipped up then the device will not see them - Mike |

Hi Mike, many thanks for the quick reply and suggestions. The problem was indeed too many .ov2 files in the GB plus map, I deleted the map then reinstalled with only the speed camera files etc.
PDA with TT now works great..
Thanks again, much appreciated.

Have you got spoken alerts working on the PDA TTN5 supports the use of OGG files which can sound far better than the simple beeps and bongs of the built in sounds, check This page out for further details, (Liz Whitt is a good bet to start with) - Mike |
