I have been really pleased with my TomTom, I have had it for about 9 months now.

I went to use it for a big trip on the motorway and my friend reminded me to update it first. I haven't ever got around to updating it before.

I went online to TomTom home and updated the provided updates.
But when I came to turn it on, all it now tells me is 'No maps found!'

I have played around with it, reset the TomTom and changed the settings on my TomTom home but I don't really know what to do to solve it!

I brought it from Amazon so it will be a real hassle to send back as it has gone over the 30 days. I'm hoping maybe I have set the updates to go into the wrong drive so it didn't go into the TomTom but then I would have thought the old data would still have stayed on there.

When I plug the TomTom into the computer now, it immediately tells me there is an error - I have copied what it tells me down below:

ERROR: /80004005: ExceptionWithCustomMessage: Directory "F:" could not be created
-
80004005: Exception from an XPCOM module:
Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIFile.create]

Can anyone help me? I would really appreciate any thoughts on the problem!!! Sad

Many thanks,

Ignoring HOME for a minute, when you plug it in, can you see the TomTom as a drive in explorer?
