Hi, I am a complete novice and this is my first post. I have bought a Garmin 255w with 30 days free, safety camera programme downloaded to it. I would like to suscribe for PGPS safety camera download. but how do I remove the Garmin one after the 30 days have expired and in its place download the PGPS one. I would appreciate some advice.

Welcome to the forum, the normal advice is to disable the Garmin camera alerts which you can do using the menu. The PGPSW Speed Cameras are installed to the device using the POILoader application - Mike |

Hi, Many thanks to Mike and Paul, I will be a suscriber at the end of the month when the Garmin 30 day programme runs out.
Also am I correct that reading other posts that Garmin update their maps for the UK on October 15th. Again many thanks.

Possibly but last year that was the date for new units with the maps those with old maps wishing to update had to wait until the new year... |
