Hello
just received my Holux M1200 GPS receiver and it is a small smart piece of kit. Connects to satellites within a few seconds.
However I would like to get the USB lead and the travel adaptor. Try as I might its very difficult to find them on Ebay or Google, unbelievably.
I've searched through posts on here and they either point to a Holux UK shop which no longer exists (404 error) or Holux-UK.Com which also is non existing. There is www.holux.co.uk which does exist but no mention of either product or an online shop. I have emailed them but just wondered whether anyone knows in the UK of where to get the GR230-A2 usb cable and also the travel adaptor listed in the manual ?

Hi,
I don't know specifically about the M1200, but the cable for other Holux GPSs is available from Clove. It has a mini-B USB plug, but the interface on the GPS is NOT USB. The actual interface (on the Holux 236, etc.) is serial "RS232" at CMOS levels and the cable has a "dongle" which converts to USB. So a normal USB A to mini-B cable (as for many cameras, MP3 players, PSP, etc.) should be suitable for charging, but NOT for data transfer.
