Hello!

I've just bought a GPS datalogger - Mainnav GPS MG-950d.

This device records GPS data to it's internal memory. That data can be downloaded with a PC software (USB cable) and memory can be freed for further logging.

I go to a place where there are no PC computers, so I would like to do the same with my IPAQ h1940 via bluetooth... Or may be with Symbian s60 v3 phone...

Can it be done? If so, I need a name of the software I can buy for that.

That GPS device does not support OBEX FTP. Only COM port (slave)...

Thank you for any suggestion,
B.

Hi,

Since it appears to use custom software designed for Windows on a PC, I doubt if there's any other way to download the data from the memory.

Have you seen this thread/forum where someone may be able to offer more advice?

Cheers, Alan.

PS: AVG warns me that your link is "dangerous".

Hi,

Perhaps a quirk in my PC. After "OBEX" I see an underlined "FTP.", but I now see the full link is just resolved as "http://ftp./" .

Cheers, Alan.
