CoPilot traffic avoidance

Hope someone can help... I had TT before, where Traffic would monitor the route the whole time, and if it worked out that it'd be quicker to take an alternative, would automatically update it, so I could just drive along and do what I was told.

I've got traffic for CP, but is there any equivalent to this functionality? All CP seems to do is tell me what traffic there is, but requires me to approve/ignore either each or all traffic incident. Or if I set it to automatically avoid all items, it still asks me if I like the new route, and so I have to respond to it before it goes back to routing me. And I don't want it to necessarily avoid ALL incidents, only those which are going to make my journey longer.

Every chance I've missed something, or misunderstood, so really could use some help.

Overall fairly happy with CP, but in hindsight wished I'd have got the latest TT instead (maybe I'm just more used to it).

No, I think that's how it works. Cack compared to TomTom IMHO.
