I've wanted to have a close look inside my Nüvi 310 for some time, but I thought I might mark the case, in doing so...
...after I managed to drop the thing and boot it the length of a hotel car park, I decided this no longer mattered!
I took some photos and posted the results HERE |

Kicking it at an alligator?
Is the unit dead then or just damaged? |

This was the day of the argument, as to who was going to carry the 760 ... so I decided to take the 310 instead. I was holding it upside-down and it slid out of its case, connected with my foot and disappeared into the distance!
The fascia's scraped, but not the screen. I took it apart to investigate the feasability of spraying the case, to cover the scratches.
...amazingly, it still works, after being dismantled and re-assembled! |

Excellent photos Phil, hopefully I won't drop my 350, but if I do they will certainly help.
