I tried re-setting the GPS today and I immediately noticed that I got a quicker fix.
My question is, what actually happens when you reset the gps and does it only reset the gps for Co-Pilot or does it reset it for othere applications as well like Memory Map? |

re-setting the GPS will discard the ephemeris and almanach data (information on where to expect which GPS satellite in the next few hours and days). If the data was bogus then re-loading it can certainly help.
this change is software agnostic. _________________ Lutz

OK thanks for that, so if I reset the GPS in Co-Pilot the GPS will also be reset in my memory Map software ? Sorry, but is this what software agnostic means ? |

yes, it is independent of the software that you use. _________________ Lutz
