Does anyone have any experience of this receiver -
http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php?xProd=988
as I'm looking to replace my dell bluetooth GPS reciever which is pretty patchy in terms of performance with one a little better, but I'm not wanting to spend too much cash.
Thanks in advance |

I haven't tried that receiver but the Nemerix equipped device should be OK, one thing to be aware of though is the Dell and using the CF slot for GPS. Depending upon which Dell you have got can sometimes require registry edits to get the GPS device to be selectable in software. The x50 and x51 are two such Dell units that suffer from this - Mike |

The x51 was more problematic than the device you have, but the x50 isn't without its issues, have a read of This Thread and follow the links/ advice from GreenGlide who was the last to post in the thread.
There are plenty of other threads on the forum detailing the issues with the x50 which can be located by using the search button, but I admit it doesn't always yield the desired results - Mike |
